Reeling Cable

Reel cables (also called reeling cables) are designed for cable reel systems, capable of withstanding frequent winding, stretching, and unwinding motions.
The conductors are made of highly flexible multi-stranded wires, while the outer sheaths are typically composed of wear- and weather-resistant materials such as PUR (Polyurethane) or rubber. Some designs incorporate tensile members—such as Kevlar fibers or steel wires—to endure the mechanical tension generated during winding.
They are widely used in mobile equipment such as cranes, port machinery, and tunnel boring machines to provide continuous power or signal transmission during reel operation.
